The true essence of Rajasthan is in its royal hospitality and culture, and some of the heritage hotels are very successful in curating the whole experience of colours, flavours and royal history for their guests to enjoy.
This time I had the opportunity to stay at the ever-so talked about Marigold Hotel, Castle Kanota. 30kms from main Jaipur city in Kanota Village, this castle can be one of the most memorable experience.
Built in 1872, Castle Kanota is one the finest heritage hotels of Rajasthan. With an amalgamation of Jaipur style frescoes and paintings on walls and ceilings and ethnic Indian furniture, this palace will give you a feel of Victorian Era.
I felt like a princess over there honestly, any guest would feel like King or Queen, with the magnificent room that I had and people to guide me around or attend my requests, infact the family is very humble that they showed us around the facade, library, their in-house museum and their collection of canons. Even my room was so amazing that I didn’t want to go out at all.
Every corner of my room was so royal, I wish I had more time experience the royalty of this amazing place.
Here is a small video of my amazing room and the facade area. It will surely tempt you to experience it once atleast.
